Q: I have QuickTime 2.0 installed in my computer. Do I need QuickTime Version 4.1 to use the program?

A: The program needs QuickTime 4.1.2 or above. If you have Version 4.0 or below, first uninstall the program and reboot the system before you begin the installation of The Journey To The Truth program. If you have two different versions of QuickTime installed in your computer, the program may not work properly.

Q: I am having trouble with the automated installation of QuickTime program. How can I manually re-install QuickTime?

A: Follw the steps given below to manually re-install QuickTime:

1. Open Windows Explorer select the CD ROM where the CD1 is located, double click on the
QuickTime folder.

2.. Then double click on the file named "Setup.exe."

3. Follow the installation instructions until the installation is complete.

4. When given the option, we recommend choosing the "Full Install" selection and accepting the default settings at each screen during the installation.

Q: I have Acrobat reader 5.0 installed in my computer. Do I need to install Acrobat Reader 4.0.?

A: The Journey To The Truth program needs Acrobat Reader 4.0. You have to install Version 4.0, even though you have Version 5.0. You do not need to uninstall Version 5.0.

Q: CD does not run automatically when run the second or subsequent time.

A: Double Click on the "The Holy Gita-Journey to the Truth" icon on your desktop to run the program.
If the program still does not run, eject the CD, run Windows Explorer, locate and delete the chinmaya.run
file in the windows\temp directory on your C: drive, insert the CD back and the program should start automatically.

Q: What to select when the following message appears after inserting CD 2:
" Acrobat is about to launch this application C:\GitaJourney\decrypt.exe. Allow this action (yes) or all actions to all application (all)
Yes No All"

A: We recommend selecting the "All" option. If "Yes" option is selected you will be prompted with this message every time you select to play a verse.

Q: The sound is of poor quality or there is static in the audio.

A:Follow the steps given below to improve the audio quality:

1.. Double click on "My Computer" icon.

2. Double click on "Control Panel" icon.

3. Double click on the "Quick Time" icon. This will open Quick Time Settings window.

4. Select the "Sound Out" option in the first box by clicking on the down arrow.

5. In the box "Choose a device for playback," select "Wave Out" as the option for the sound card.

Q: Why do the colors not show properly on my computer?

A: Exit the program and make sure the PC color setting is set appropriately.

To check color settings:

1. Right click your mouse anywhere on your desktop.

2. Select Properties.

3. Click on the "Settings" tab.

4. Select the "colors" menu option.

5. Set to 16 bit or higher.

6. Click the "OK" button to save the new settings.

Q: Why is the CD sound and picture not synchronized.

A: Due to the large size of the sound and picture files sometimes synchronization can be a problem. The sound and picture quality will be much better when run on a higher end Desktop versus a Laptop.

Q: Why does the sound break?

A: Exit the Program, reboot the system, and re-start the Program.

Q: In the Beginning section, painting does not shrink back when the mouse is rolled over on the right.

A: Roll over the mouse all the way down or to the right beyond the text or anywhere outside the frame and the painting will shrink back to the normal size.
